Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Clinical Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and managing the pharmacy clinical programs. This includes formulary management, policy and procedure development and education across the healthcare spectrum. The Clinical Manager shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director or designee is unavailable.


B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy, PharmD is preferred

PGY1-2 Residency


2-3 Management experience preferred; 1 Year minimally – MUST HAVE MANAGER EXPERIENCE

5 years’ experience hospital pharmacy experience in at least a 400 bed facility



Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy


Self-directed and able to work under pressure and constant change.

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with medical staff, hospital personnel, patients, and their families

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze feasible solutions, and choose a course of action

The Manager of CM department reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for supervising, delegating and coordinating the work of exempt and non-exempt staff.

Degree of supervision required: Minimal, individual proceeds on his/her own initiative, in compliance with policies, practices and procedures prescribed by professional nursing practice and approved by the hospital’s CFO
